I just read this while looking (once again, Newport) at the EMX (Rife)info.

From the Rife guys:
>>>>If you have Lyme and wish to experiment with the EMEM3, note that an apparent herxheimer reaction may occur if an initial exposure time is exceeded. The idea is to feel something but not to incapacitate one's self!!! Feedback indicates most people start at 4 or 5 minutes total. Some people also experience an apparent herxheimer reaction after an antibiotic treatment is started. Most, based on their reports, had tried unsuccessfully to be cured with antibiotics. Although those treated within a week of the initial appearance of symptoms are in remission or totally cured, others sick for weeks, months or years have taken several rounds of oral or intravenous antibiotics over the years. Many people report that these treatments made only a marginal difference in how they felt while being treated. However many report feeling sicker, relapsing if you will, in weeks or months following the cessation of every regimen of antibiotics. In the case of multiple regimens individuals report an overall downhill progression of overall health over the years. This is due to a peculiar characteristic of the lyme bacteria. When "threatened" by antibiotics they form a glyco-protein cocoon around themselves. This is referred to as a "cyst state." While protected from antibiotics in these cysts they can replicate up to 5 times per Bryan Rosner. Hence when they "come out" there can be substantially more than before they went into "hiding." Thus people can apparently get sicker indirectly from antibiotic useage. Conversely, people using EMEM3 technology do not generate cyst stages and do not suffer from serious relapses caused by introduction of "hidden" bacteria.
