"I finally see your confusion here. Paragraphs 2 and 3 of Humbles own writing explains it. The CHLORINE DIOXIDE must first accept five electrons of charge and THEN it instantaneously results in an instant oxidization, which is the explosion.

The explosion isn't made until it gets it's charge. You forgot the element: OXYGEN, and by that he means OXYGEN in its most basic form."
