Hi all, I was wondering if I put a drop of Iodine in the chickens water would it go through to their eggs. Also would adding Iodine to the water I use on my vegies mean they take up more Iodine into themselves. I'm looking for sneaky ways to get more iodine into my partner, he wont drink it, he is very resistant to any prevetative kind of medicine and then complains when he gets sick all the time. I find that this is a common problem with my family. On a side note, I found that the chinese medicine that my daughter gives her 3 year old for asthma has a good amount of iodine in it amoungst a lot of other herbs. He has not had asthma since starting the medicine. mmmm wonder if its the iodine in it or the combination with the other herbs.
