One wonders how many people have died whoe were diagnosed with HIV in 1992 and opted for AZT and/or other mainstream medications? Or how many children who have taken AZT and/or other mainstream medications have died as a result.
It appears that Maggiore's warnings to expectant HIV positive mothers against AZT were well founded:
KIDS: HIV, AIDS and AZT
Considering the many side effects of the AIDS drug AZT, the question of giving it to pregnant women should be weighed carefully instead of being blindly accepted. Nicholas Regush, former correspondent with ABCNEWS.com
Recent evidence indicates that Glaxo Wellcome's anti-HIV drug AZT, may cause, rather than prevent Aids in babies. Earlier this year a study of over 400 infants born to HIV+ mothers in Miami-Dade, Florida, USA concluded that rapid progression to 'full-blown' Aids was "three times more likely to occur in infants born to [AZT] treated mothers -compared with findings in untreated mothers" EyeIreland Online News
The noted mainstream mouthpiece the above story was quoted from, the LA Times, also ran an erroneous front page story blaming the death of Maggiore's three year old son on AIDS related illness when the actual cause was likely an allergic reaction to the mainstream drug amoxicillin:

Though not reported in the story, it is also worth noting that Maggiore's older son, who was also breastfed, has tested negative for HIV.
