I think Barefoot covered this topic sufficiently - he is right - I do not believe in synthetic vitamins of any kind. In fact, most OB/GYN's will tell you not to take prescription prenatal vitamins during the first 3 months of pregnancy if you are nauseated because they will make it worse. Iron supplements are downright toxic and are one of the leading causes of poisoning deaths in toddlers who find their mothers iron supplements. Even if you find something in a health food store - you need to read the labels - if you can't pronounce it - you shouldn't take it.
