Your question: A question about mulch. I'm thinking about starting one in the corner of my back yard, but we have ant problems where I live. Would the pile of mulch attract ants? If so, how would I be able to deal with it without using pesticideds?

Answer: Ants are because the conditions are too Acidic !

Just sprinlke some Calcium Hydroxude over their hill and they will move elsewhere !
