Doctors should be on the same pay scale as mechanics, with the same expectation that they will find and fix the problem. Going to see a doctor these days is like going to a mechanic for a broken axel and having him put air in the tyres, charging like a wounded bull and expecting you to feel grateful for the air. Not telling people about diet, drinking water etc is like saying that it doesn't matter what fuel you use in your car as long as its a liquid.

My doctor became very offended when I told him that I would not be taking his advice on all the drugs he was prescribing and asked him if he would please give me some information on natural remedies that don't cost an arm and a leg (or breast). I reminded him that I was paying him for the visit and the information, he wasn't doing me a big favor by condecending to see me.

I'm tired of being treated like a nut case or being patronised as though I'm some m*o*o*n who doesn't understand anything about my own body. But, I will bide my time take my Iodine and get better, revenge is a dish best served cold as they say. My revenge will be the fact that my hard earned cash will no longer be lining the pockets of these doctors and paying for their big cars and flash houses with my misery. Viva la revolution!!!!!
