me three. on more than one occassion. I can relate totally to both of the above posts. sad isnt it. sexual abuse of people (men, women, children) is far more common than most of us are willing to admit. Sad as the following statement is: I have found comfort in knowing that others share/have shared my pain, confusion, anger, disallusionment. Oddly enough, it is in the realization that I was a victim w/no voice, I became powerful enough from within to deter any further encroachment upon my body.

Violation is always violation but we have the ability to let it end there. It is the repeated assaults against a background of seeming complacency along w/distorted cultural beliefs and practices regarding sex and the human body that make the pain at times unbearable.

may we all find peace within our selves.
