DMSO is not needed. Studies have already been conducted proving the effectiveness of ozone in treating AIDS, which has more than one cause.

And ozone readily penetrates cells.

Finally, oxidation of DMSO yields DMSO2, otherwise known as methylsulfonylmethane(MSM).
