I wouldn't use it unactivated in large amounts as sodium chlorite is 50 times more toxic than chlorine dioxide.

You would think that sodium chlorite should at least partly activate in the stomach as their is dilute hydrochloric acid in the stomach. But I think it's better to take less activated. If you get sick with 3 drops take 2 instead.
