Yes megghill I have other ills. I am type 1 diabetic, hypothyroid(hashimotos), and just about all my hormone systems are low(hgh, adrenals,ovaries). I believe the doctor called it Sheehans Syndrome. It all occured when I gave birth and hemmoraged, starving my hypothalamus of blood. The diabetes and thyroid were already present, so for me it seems like my immune system started attacking the rest of my hormone systems. The doc said it was possible, but there aren't any tests for antibodies against the rest of my hormone systems. I also think candida(or maybe some other parasite) is why my body is doing this. As far as feeling better with diet and supps, I think so. I know most days I have much more mental clarity than I used to. I felt liked lived I in brainfog for two yrs straight!! But then on the other hand, my altmed doc put me adderall(weird I know), b/c studies have been done for CFS(I have) showing it helps with orthostatic hypotension. It has helped me with soooo much more!! I no longer have the blood pressure issues, the mental clarity, it even helped kill the candida surprisingly!! I had the most horrible die-off when I first began taking it. I thought it ws just a reaction to the med, but then candida started coming out in droves!! Another strange side effect from it ws that my period returned! I had not had one since the birth(sheehans), but this brought them back. It took me a while to figure that out. I stopped the adderall for about 3 months b/c I thought it was doing in my adrenals in, and then my periods stopped. I am such a freak!!LOL. Anyway, sorry to drone on, HTH.
