Haven't tried it for nut butters and pasta yet. Works decent on wheat grass and very well on carrots. Pulp comes out drier than any other juicer I have ever used. You can also control if you want some pulp left in the juice or not. The place where we got ours had a rental machine available as well that we could have tried the unit in advance. They also have a schedule of in store demos.
