Slight correction it was a 1990 study titled:

Suppression of human immunodeficiency virus replication by ascorbate in chronically and acutely infected cells.

Now if this has the power of antiviral meds without any side effects and with resistance not becoming a problem that must be good news to somebody.

I wonder if big pharma held a party the day the good man died.
