I tried to talk to my Baptist in-laws in how I've changed my feelings on Santa - but boy did it get me into a lot of trouble. Heck, I even helped my husband a few years back with his fake persona fooling our one and only child. I hate the lying, but I still catch myself lying - mostly to myself but I digress...

I hated helping him with the Santa fake-out - but I gotta live with the guy, too. aarrgghh

Fortunately my daughter knows the truth now, but the materialism is implanted fully into her little greedy body and head.

It kills me. It truly does.
