Good points DQ, but also consider this approach when we get sick:

First go to the medical [mainstream]Doctor to get a DIAGNOSIS, and listen to his treatment advice, but then consider some alternative treatments if the situation is not dire. The Doc often puts things in perspective.

Alternative therapies should be tried FIRST because the pharmaceutical interventions often "spoil the playing field" so that the gentler alternative treatments cannot be effective.

[99% of illnesses do not need urgent treatment]
