I do feel sick, and I have severe allergic reactions to everything (not respiratory, but more physical like chest pain, migraines, and abdominal pain). This happens with ALL SSRIs like Lexapro & paxil, bactrim, Minocin, BuSpar, and many others.
I did consider the "toxic liver" theory, and I did a gallbladder flush twice, but I clearly did not need those because they left me feeling sadistically worse than before them. I also did herbal Liver Cleansing which was a complete disaster.
Based upon my lab test results, my nutritionist recommended these:
1) Klaire labs Biotagen (to help regrow Flora)
2) Tyler Similase digestive enzymes
3) MSM (for my low sulfate levels)
4) Metagenics AdvaClear
5) I tried Micellised CoEnzyme Q10 but it made me feel POISONED!!!
6) Alcat food allergy test
7) He also said I have an overactive Phase I detox.
Sounds like you have multiple things going on. Whats going on with the abdominal pain? Having belching, gas, bloating. Are the stools formed properly, color ok, floating (sorry). Did the doc do a stool analysis?
I think it is better to do herbal liver cleanses, what happened when you used this? Problems? I am suspecting that when you do the liver cleanse that the toxins being released from the liver are recirculating thru the body. The liver dumps the bile/toxins into the intestinal tract to be carried out of the body. There are some tricks you can do to expedite the toxins out thru the intestinal tract.
The Depression can come from multiple places, infections produce some very powerful chemicals like cytokines that alter brain functions, so that could be one issue, toxins will create havoc, nutritional deficiencies will create some problems as well, toxic metals could be another issue. For instance magnesium deficiency will cause Depression among many other minerals. B complex is essential if you are sick. I would try a complete b complex from Country Life (co-enzymated) with some extra b12 (methylcobalamin) and folic acid (megafolinic by source naturals) I would add magnesium as either magnesium chloride or UltraMag by Source Naturals. Vitamin C is very essential, I would try either just plain C and/or a product called SuperC by Rainbow Nutritionals. EmergenC product would be very good as it adds many mineral ascorbates with Vitamin C. Using an amino acid complex (Anabol Naturals) would be a very good choice as well. Iherb has some very good prices on these items.
There are a few other tests that your doc should run... Let me know if you want some more info.
