I don't think saying you are from european decent has anything to do with your body not liking meat, as I am from european decent also, and my body thrives on meat. Has since I was little. The atkins way doesn't make me feel like crap, it just hasn't cured my stomach problems. Also, my relatives seem to be meateaters also. To each his own.

I don't advocate protein only. From what I have read no candida diet says protein only. When you eat meat, you are also suppose to at least eat a good portion of vegetables. And some fruit if it can be tolerated.
