Dr Mom, I have been period free for 14 months, but started taking MH's Mrs Barefoot along with my nursing daughter.

If I eat live foods,correct imbalances in my system, etc is it possible to restart my period? (not that I really want to) Has anyone ever done that? I am 57, btw.

I also have thyroid nodules and did take Levoxyl for 5 yrs--until last winter. I take iodine that MH makes now too. Do I need to take Hormone Balance? I feel very good and can keep up with my daughters because they don't eat as healthy as I do.
