Yes, good question as many alternative practitioners recommend against meat and high protein.

While the cancer is going though the repair phase, it is breaking down, sometimes bleeding occurs, (as in colon, lung, or cervical cancers etc) infections and fevers may set in. The body requires protein to rebuild tissue. A low protein diet will slow down healing.
