Dear Beck,
One year ago my cholesterol was 284, I was about 40 pounds over weight. I had a lot of health problems and I was told I would have to go on Lipitor. I refused to do that. My cholesterol is down to 208 now and I was just at the doctor and he said it's a little high, but no need to go on Lipitor. I have not excersized either. I also changed my diet too very important to do. Took dairy, sugar, white flour, no white rice and soda out. I linked up with an herbalist and he told me to take 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil 2 times a day and I also take something called supertonic the same dosage. I think it's on Dr. Schulze s sight where you can order it, or I can give you the recipe for it. It's hot, but it's so worth the effort. But the diet change is a must too. I drink the olive oil with a swig of apple juice and then take a swig of apple juice to down the supertonic too. But it's also supposed to help keep arteries open too. Take it after you eat though not on an empty stomach.
Here is the recipe for the supertonic:
Equal amounts of every thing.
(we use dried everything except the horseradish but you can get dried)
horseradish root (if you use fresh put in blender to grind)
hot peppers (or dried cayenne)
ginger
white onions
garlic
I use 2 tbsp. of each then I add apple cider vinegar to liquify it to make 16 fluid ounces. Keep in fridge.
email me if you want to chat about the diet. debbie_g57@hotmail.com I also have recipes too I can send. I am in the process of making a recipe book for friends and family who saw the change in my weight. I have done research on recipes and there are so many things to do healty and still eat like you feel you aren't missing out.
