So sorry-- your experience sounds much like mine. I can't guarantee anything, but I have only had a few really bad days since getting the Mirena removed roughly a month ago. Some physical symptoms persist, but the mental ones (extreme anger, lassitude, irritability) seem to be lifting. I'd say go for it-- I had it 4 years and things got much worse the last year.
