Hi - sorry for the delay. When I'm on meds and they are working fairly well, I don't have that much problem with suicidal ideation. But Lord help me when I am off my meds - and the meds have left my system completely (after I stop taking meds, it can take me as much as three months to start hitting the dismal depths of despair). It seems that the suicidal ideation gets worse each time I come off of meds - the last time I was completely off meds, the ideations seemed more pronounced.

As far as getting my mercury fillings out - easier said than done. If I had the money, I probably would have already scheduled the removal appointments! But since I'm jobless and have been for some time, I come nowhere close to having the money for such an expensive procedure (then there is even further expense involved in replacing the fillings). My only hope of having them removed any time soon (if I'm ever able to) is if I win my Social Security disability case whenever I have the hearing (I believe the hearing is coming up fairly soon). But it is far from a sure shot that I will win my case - the Social Security Administration has gotten very strict in recent years when it comes to awarding disability.

I think, even if removing my fillings will not do that much to improve my primary illness (social anxiety, depression, generalized anxiety) - it may go a long ways in alleviating some "secondary" conditions I have. Hormonal imbalances, liver congestion, severe brain-fog and intellectual deterioration, etc. Heck, mercury intoxication may have something to do with why I experience such pronounced side effects on psychiatric medication - removing the fillings may help me tolerate medications better.
