I can't blame your girl being hurt. Mostly girls are over sensitive when it comes to physical things. What I can advise is to avoid making comments. If you think you can't help it, just write it but don't let her see it. Give her the support. Just like my husband, he continues to praise my body despite of the weight I gained but by doing that, I was more inspired to change myself seeing him happy just the way I am because I in return would want to make him happier seeing me looking better.
