Can anyone state definitively whether or not Lugol's Iodine (2% or 5%) can be used inside the ear canal? I have had tinnitus, fluid, and crackling/popping in my ears for years now which I suspect is Candida or other fungi and I would like to treat it using Lugol's (straight or diluted) if possible.

Many websites refer to placing 5% povidone Iodine in the ear canal but not Lugol's.

Colloidal Silver , Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , Burrow's solution, Lamisil have not worked.

Any information would be appreciated.
