Hi Mark,

Two reasons why I switched from Holistic Horizons....availability and trying something new to compare results. Holistic Horizons used to be easily obtained at several health food stores in my area (Chicago), but for some reason they are no longer carrying it...my guess is the newer, quick-fix-claiming products have become more popular and it doesn't sell as well. I've tried numerous colon cleansing products so that I know what results they produce and can recommend them to my clients.

As I said before, it took a couple of months on the Holistic Horizons program to start passing mucoid plaque...but I was experiencing some improvements in my digestion and eliminations much sooner than that. When I tried the psyllium and bentonite, I was amazed to see mucoid plaque within a couple of days! I don't know if the previous cleanse with Holistic Horizons contributed to the quick response with the p&b or not...there have been several years in between. I am glad I did the Holistic Horizons cleanse because I know for a fact that the 'ropes' are NOT the bentonite...as some people suggest. I also think that the additional herbs in Gray's formula have benefits beyond just cleansing the colon...it includes blood purifiers and lymph cleansers that help to cleanse the entire body. That's why I'm going to do the HH cleanse again...but I'm going to experiment with adding Bentonite to see if this excelerates the release of the mucoid plaque. And...yes...I have read what Gray says about bentonite...see my post to Petra in this thread.
