I was drinking the cheapest, crappiest red wine possible.

Probably filled with fluoride and God knows what else. I always got skin breakouts the next day and it would turn my face red, almost like a sunburn.

Besides all the obvious reasons, that's actually another reason why I'm never drinking again. Just with my gluten intolerance and my body's general sensitivy (especially since doing iodine) it seems alcohol, even gluten free alcohol really hurts my body. On the celiac boards they said a lot of celiacs are sensitive to sulfites and wine contains sulfites so it could be that.

Like I said, my entire face would be bright red when drinking and the next day it would peel off, like it had been sunburned. I don't know what that means but it can't be a good sign of whats going on internally. :\
