I've had problems falling asleep, waking up too early and not being able to fall back asleep as well as waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to fall back asleep for several hours. I unfortunately need 7-8 hours sleep.

Insomnia and having energy during the day have been my most difficult health problems to resolve.

What has helped me with insomnia is...and I sometime adjust it if I adjust my other vitamins.

I take calcuim and magnesium on an empty stomach 1 hr or more before dinner.

Right after dinner, I take a multi-vitamin, B1 200 mg, B6 50mg, 4 tablets of kelp, 5 tabs of potassium (5x99mg), 200-250mg of Paba.

The above formula, though an effort, helped me to sleep through the night, but I was not always able to fall asleep when I wanted to.

I have taken and plan to go back to it, alpha kg with ornithine by Source Naturals in the morning for energy, and I believe it helps me fall asleep at night when I want - assuming I get ready for bed an hour before I want to fall asleep.

Calcium and magnesium can help me to feel relaxed.

A lack of B1 can cause insomnia.

B6 helps to create trytophan which helps one sleep.

Kelp helps to resolve hypothyroidism of which one of its symptoms is insomnia.

Potassium and Paba help me to feel sleepy.

Niacinamide, pantothentic acid, choline bitarate, and inositol also have a positive effect on insomnia, and I have taken them but have settled on this formula for me.

What each individual takes is probably dependent on their needs.

Good Luck.
