You are right. I guess I would need to find a group right for me but I don't know if they are out there. I know 12 step is very black and white.. all or nothing and I don't work that way. Alcohol is my problem but I still enjoy marijuana once in awhile.. stuff like that you know? I'm not against ALL drugs.. I just can't control drinking. I have been worried if I joined these groups they would be against all drugs and thats something I'm really against(being against all drugs).

Maybe it's out there, who knows. All I know is I don't like getting into debates with people about my beliefs about drug use, especially psychadelic drugs. And I don't want to put myself in a position of being judged for my beliefs.

I guess I could go to a meeting and focus soley on my alcohol problem and keep my opinions on drugs private, what do you think?

p.s. please don't tell me I have to quit all drugs or all drugs are bad, I don't believe this and my opinions wont change so I don't want to argue it. I don't know your opinion but it's just something I feel really strongly about.
