All I'm saying is.. I keep seeing people bombarding people about their ED's which honestly people who are vulnerable will just push them to binge/purge.

not to mention doing a simple test.. or asking someone their height and weight is hardly much to diagnose a person.

I saw lauray's posts a long time ago and thought to myself. okay this girl has problems (dont we all?) and should see a therapist perhaps.. but at the end of the day.. it's clear the route she wants to take even though I may not agree, and I don't think its helping for someone to rip apart her previous posts and tell her YOU HAVE AN ED when its already been suggested.. which makes people just bombard here. One suggestion is fine.. but people bombarding other people online isn't shes an adult, you don't have to encourage her to fast but this forum has become ridiculous lately.

And they aren't coming here to be bombarded constantly, there is an FAQ and as adults can read that and formulate their own conclusions.

You can't make someone get help. I mean you really thought for how long fasting was gonna cure your problems didn't you? and if someone would have really told you otherwise you'd disagree, and you just now finally came to your own conclusions, and all of this info about ED's has been around for ages, hasn't it?

I also think its interesting that before I made a big stink everyone wasn't questioning a damned thing when people wanted to fast and just saying you can do it! when it was clear they had some sort of issues.. now people are acting like detectives, because they read a few things online.

It was pretty common sense to me yrs ago that fasting isn't gonna cure psychological problems, but they I got jumped on and whatever other nonsense, but now its a different story?

And you are right this forum should be for support and HELP, but you also need to leave those alone who do NOT want help. If you keep pushing people its only gonna make them go the other way.. which btw ahem check out her blog then and you will see my point.

I'm just sick of people trying to diagnose people online. This has turned into an ED intervention forum.
