Yeah that would be a happy thing to have happen wouldn't it, but then I suppose it could be overdone just like anything we do, too much is as bad as not enough huh?
The friend that told me about the MBT's also taught me that when you exercise regularly and do a good workout you will burn calories long after you stop the workout. Like I could be sitting on the sofa online and burning calories at the same time, how great is that? That really got me motivated to exercise, I researched it and what she said is the truth. That means that every once and a while we can eat a little dessert, LOL.
I agree its a mind over matter thing about starting and sticking with it. I tried to walk on the treadmill a little while ago and got tired after less that 15 minutes, how shocked I was, it doesn't take long to get out of the habit, I hope the three week habit thing is true. I know it won't take long to build back up but the fact of the matter is that we have to push ourselves to get started again, I know how wonderful the reward is!
I don't know if you're in the States or not but there is this show called The Biggest Loser. People start out grossly obese and over the course of several weeks you can see them changing. Besides eating properly the main emphasis is on exercise, those people train hard several hours a day, it hurts me just to watch it but it is truly fascinating to see someone reach their goals and become healthy.
