Digestion starts in the mouth. You should be chewing each mouthful into a paste before swallowing, this assists your digestion. Most people gulp their food down and expect their stomach etc. to do the rest. Neither the probiotics or Grapefruit-Seed-Extract is supposed to aid in digestion, probiotics are beneficial intestinal flora and Grapefruit-Seed-Extract is an antifungal.
