Hi..
I'm on day 12 (also aiming for 30-40) and beginning to experience what you described. That is cravings for all kinds of foods, some healthy some not and some i havn't eaten for months.

There are some ways to deal with this that i found helpful and are connected mainly with an attitude change, that is to sooth the mind by telling it some of the following things:

1. I'm on this process for a very limited time after which i can enjoy eating once more in a more concious manner

2. If i eat now unconciously out of an occasional craving i might regress to the beginning state of my problems which i aspired to solve using the process of the master cleanse. I've gone too far to quit now.

3. Breaking the goal to a psychological more managable pieces, that is if my aim is 30 and i'm now on 12 i'll continue no matter what to day 20 and then make a decision based upon my feelings and sensation then. This also eliminates all kinds of tricks of the mind because you are more focused on a now more realistic goal

4. I've found that for me the evil spirit of craving rules supreme during evening time and almost nil during the morning. Also the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) if done correctly dispells hunger almost completely. So what i say to myself during evening time is that i must stay focused and make it to the morning and then i'm on safer grounds.

5. The laxative tea in the evening and the occasional mint tea help to eliminate some of the almost unnoticable tastes in the mouth which may cause hunger.

6. This one i saved for the last which is spiritual observation. I mean by that, that when we suffer even a small suffering as that caused by the MC, the doors of self observation which might lead a more objective understanding about ourselves and our relation to food may become readily opened. Such insights are very rare when we are in a state of "Action - Reaction" to food.

I wish you the best success in your endavour and never lose sight of being kind and compassionate for yourself
