Hey Doc. I'm a college student that has about a year left in pre-reqs before I can enter the Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA. I have some questions that you might have insider information on. How important is the school you go to? I live close to San Jose, and so it was my first thought to go to Palmer. However due to the rent and high price of tuition, I believe I might be able to save myself $50k or more on loans if I could find another quality school in a cheaper area. What are your thoughts on that? Does having a Palmer education give you advantages that other Chiropractors wouldn't have? Where did you go to school at?
My wife and I plan on having a child soon if it looks like we can manage it during school. I've spoken with some current students that say they have families while in school, just the only way they can spend time with them is on the weekends, and so they have to skip out on the weekend partying with the rest of the students.
You can e-mail me, or we can continue the conversation here. Either way is fine. Thanks!
