If you are not taking Iodine, I would try that immediately. If you put a diluted Iodine solution on a sponge and insert it in the vagina, it will kill the bacteria that causes a fishy vaginal odor. Perhaps it can help you too. To learn more about therapeutic supplementation with Iodine, go to the Idoine Support Forum hosted by the VWT Team. I highly recommend that you spend some time reading posts there, learning about the correct way to use Iodine therapeutically, as this will speed results and progress.
Cloves will only destroy the eggs it can reach. The majority of them are surrounded by a protective coating of mucous and buried in diverticuli pockets that have been capped over to protect and conceal them. That is why cleansing protocols that are targeting egg laying parasites require numerous rounds in various cycles, depending on what's infecting you. For example, the best "pace" for you might be ten days on and five days off, seven days on and twenty one days off, or thirty days on and ninety days off. It is important to learn how to listen to your body and give it what it needs. What I am saying is that it might not be necessary for you to concern yourself too much about the eggs as you will be going after hatchlings anyway. The problem will be that your body will have to detox more toxins from decomposing hatchlings than you would have in your system if you could have tolerated the cloves.
Here is a great article on the important of parasite cleansing in cycles-

Sometimes an increase in your symptoms can be the result of a herxheimer reaction, your body cleansing itself. Detoxing with Iodine, for example, will temporarily give you bad breath, stinky sweat, and dark smelly urine. This is an indication that your cleansing protocol is working. When that is the case, it is important to endure, and the symptoms will eventually subside. It is the only way to experience a new level of health and sense of well being. In the case of a genetic condition such as TMAU, the situation can be a little more complicated, and require an even deeper understanding of the mechanisms at work contributing to your symptoms.
Does the odor increase when you eat fish and garlic?
It sounds as if you are hopeful that the condition can cured and I support you in seeking a cure. Although TMAU is considered to be a genetic condition, genes require a specific environment in which to express and there are literally thousands of herbs that you can take. I am a person who loves my solitude and I can easily go a few days without socializing. Would it be possible for you to experiment with various herbs on your days off and weekends? How long does it take for the odor to subside after you have eaten something that causes it? Do all people with TMAU react to the same foods, or do you have to find out what your triggers are via trial and error experimentation?
