Hi Rainy,

As I have mentioned in my prior post I have been trying to fast on a daily basis (with a few exceptions) for more than 10 years. Instead of coming to the point that I had an eating disorder for all that time and take baby steps to recovering. Instead I thought fasting could cure EVERYTHING. It is NOT. Especially when a person suffers from eating and compulsive disorder and, as a result, after even short fasts has a tendency to eat everything within their site and occasionally to purge. I know what I am talking about. Ok, in MY own case I needed to sort out this issue BEFORE all kind of fasts.

I believe in God too. I am Orthodox. I do believe in prayers and.. God helps those who help themselves. But in this particular case I FIRMLY BELIEVE that an eating disorder SHOULD be sorted out BEFORE the fast. Anyway, thank you very much for ur reply and sharing ur own opinion with me, Rainy. :)

Ps: I also hope u will sort ur eating disorder soon. Just please do not go to extreems. Believe me life is NOT all about fasting:) x
