I don't know, I have yet to see any 12V units that put out any significant amounts of ozone.

It sounds like one of the electrostatic units though, so I found this statement interesting:

(Independent Lab Test shows virtually zero Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) in output.)

Virtually means some are being produced. Makes me wonder how many nitrogen oxides are being formed by other electrostatic units like the ones by Plasmafire.
