I haven't checked my blood pressure in a long time, but when I was married I had borderline hypertension and my doctor suggested drugs (but I never went on them).

Now I'm a vegetarian and have cut out caffeine and weight less. The diastolic seems good but the systolic is obviously high. I know my heart was pounding (it registered at 91 during the test) because I'm afraid of the cuffs when they start tightening! Do you think that's why the systolic is so high?
