I didn't vote for Obama, but is anyone on the outside sure whether this is the point, after the first security briefing where a president (elect) becomes aware that he doesn't get to make as many decisions as he thought? Plus other relatively shocking things he didn't know of. I don't know, just a thought.

Someone asked him after that first briefing if he learned anything that he was surprised to learn. He replied that even if he had he couldn't say. I thought he looked worn out compared to his campaigning look. Maybe it was the lighting.
