not doing well: I can sympathize with you situation. I'm going through a similar phase. I've had chronic constipation pretty much all my life and it has progressively gotten worst. It is to the point that I simply can not go without medication, and even at that, I've experienced that most medications gradually lose their effect. I'm way past the laxative stage -- they simply do not work any more. I am looking into going through a routing of colonic sessions, I've heard they work well. I'll let you know how it goes.
