The coconut oil combined with the oil of oregano will provide lots of lubrication. Both are very healing and both are antibacterial, antiviral, antiparsitic and antifungal. The are very powerful. Plus the oil of oregano tastes awful so your cat should leave it alone and not lick the area. The first couple of days, I would either come home at lunch to treat her or bring her with me to work as you should treat her 3 times for the first few days.
As far as draining it, what I did with my cat is saturate two cotton pads with Colloidal Silver and use them...one in each hand to squeeze the area gently until nothing more was coming out. Then I would clean it with the Colloidal Silver . Be careful, if nothing is coming out then I would tend to wait until the next cleaning and try again...you don't want to hurt the kitty, but it is important to extract the puss out (sorry).
Personally, I think I would use the Antibiotics you got at least until you get the other natural products....just to be on the safe side.
