I really was disgusted with this election cycle...

Every time I spoke out against Obama, I was attacked for being a racist, anti-abortion, among many other things, by people who do not even know me...

Every time I spoke out against McCain, I was attacked for being any number of things from anti-Christian to being unconcerned about national security, again, primarily by people who do not even know me...

And in either case, I was accused of being for either McCain or Obama when I was for neither, ever, and even stated such repeatedly.

I have lost my faith in "the people" as a whole. There are a few shining stars, and if they do not speak up and come forward and press the issue, we are destined to witness the fruition of what is inevitably planned and well in process.

At work, within the small group I work, there are only two, including myself, that get this out of 60+ people. Neither one of our write in votes (indeed no write in votes at all, which leads me to believe they are never counted; My voice was not heard) appears in the official vote count for my state. That, is not very reassuring.
