Chris's post clarifies a lot.

Additionally, if you do Google searches and start reading up on "calorie restriction" you will see that there has been much success in this area on slowing the aging process.

While I don't consider myself a follower of CR, I do prefer juicing to solid meals most times and obviously fasting to help detox as much as possible.
