There is a penalty for removing Hg and another penalty for having Hg in your blood weakening the WBCs.

Both are controllable via dosing, if you start out low enough with DMSA, by that I mean 6-12.5mg vs. the 50mg trial dose, you feel better because it simply skims off the Hg in blood.

Of course everyone is different and certainly in my case there was always Hg in blood from killing of Lyme and critters.
