I think this is such a great post. It is sad to because I think most people including me don't have many "real friends". Sometimes I know I get angry because it always seems to me that I am the one reaching out, and no one reaches back and I say "I'm not gonna do it anymore"...and then I realize I will never find my real friend if I don't try. It is also a representation of how I would want others to treat me.
