Yes, I have quite a bit of 'junk' silver, and we are saving up pieces until we have enough to make it worth it to send to a refiner. (Probably a couple of pounds) Although a lot of siver coins are only about 90% silver, but at least you have an idea of what they really are, because they came from a mint, which stands behind them.
