Sounds like you have everything under control.

Especially glad to hear you have been doing EFT, and getting good from it. A lot of people dismiss it because they don't understand how it works.

As far as you going out with your friend, and he wanting you to eat, unless your ready to end your fast, don't listen to him.

I had the same situation when my kids were growing up, and we would go out to eat. My Ex didn't understand what I was trying to do, but I hung in there until I was ready to break the fast.
