hopefully you'll have a chance to read this now:

I said I have put my mother and SO on L-Tryptophan and 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP because they had a ton of anxiety/insomnia problems and it has helped.

Although I would check out maybe more natural herbs first because the above is pretty potent and may have some contraindications pending.
