I'm a skeptic on parasites. Our family should be good candidates as we had 2 pets and rarely dewormed them. I know our family had pinworms or something twice as one daughter was diagnosed with them, and years ago I found what appeared like worms in my babies diaper. The first time we used something we bought from a drug store or Walmart. The second time the doctor gave us a prescription for the whole family. However, when my entire family tried something for parasites that people seem to think really works on this site, not one of us saw anything suspicious. No one noticed anything different in our health.
I am also a skeptic on acidophilus. It seems to me that one wouldn't have to keep taking it indefinitely as, if it is really alive, you should be able to eventually get enough of it and be able to quit taking it. I believe it is good to take, but I just think a few billion of them should be enough to do the job. Perhaps someone can explain this to me. Even if the majority of them don't reach your gut alive, I would think that you would still eventually get enough.
I believe in trying all these things to see if they help. I have tried the gallbladder flush a couple of times, many different vitamins and herbs, juice fasts, the Lemonade Diet , bowels cleanses, the Water Cure etc.... I think these have all helped to improve my health. I am not trying to be difficult, it is just the parasite cleanse didn't seem to make any difference at all. Perhaps the herbs and vitamins are helping. However it really seems that what has made the biggest difference are juice fasts, keeping regular, and the Water Cure .
