In December of 1989, a well to do Japanese runs into his friend on the street and starts bragging about a dog he bought:

- "Look, I just got myself a dog, it is worth 1 million dollars!"
- "How do you know it's worth that much?"
- "Well, I just traded in my two half a million dollar cats for it!"

Last we heard, the dog owner was buying monkeys from a shady Indian trader...
