ha~! don't recall the laughing fat lady but the
air jets yes, and those silly racing horses that
seemed almost as large as a real race track. I
remember the fabulous times. Either Euclid or
Cedar Point also had a Ferris Wheel that when
you were at the top, the view over the lake
was splendid. I remember those old rocket ships
that were there and have had more than a few
recurring dreams with them in the dream. Of
course, my love for wooden roller coasters began
there...
We also frequented Geauga Lake Park.
In Missouri, we have a specialty custard stand
called Andy's Frozen Custard. Not as perfect as
my *kid* custard taste "memories" but a good close.
Thanks for bringing back really good memories.
It must have been cheap to go too since we went
so often...still, it makes me sad a little since
our kids never had the kind of *freedom* I enjoyed.
